Applications are invited from eligible candidates in prescribed Proforma (Annexure-A) for appointment on following temporary post in Jharkhand State Electricity Board :
1 “A” Assistant Electrical Engineer (General Cadre)
Pay Scale: 9300-34800/- in grade pay 5500/-
Education qualification:
Assistant ElectricalEngineer(GeneralCadre) Must have Electrical/ Electronics Engineering degree fromany Govt. recognised institution or its equivalent with minimum percentage of marks in Engineering degree course as mentioned in Para 2(b) below.

Must have degree in B.E / B.Tech./ B.Sc. Engineering in Computer Science/ B.Tech in I.T from any Govt. recognized university or its equivalent with minimum percentage of marks in engineering Degree course as mentioned in Para 2(b) below.

General Cadre officer are posted in the Distribution wing of the Board and are responsible for maintenance and development of electricity supply to the consumers. GTO cadre officers are posted at the Generation Stations, Transmission Grid, Generation wing and Transmission wing of the Board.Civil cadre officers are posted in Jurisdiction of JSEB.

Selection Criteria:
I. Objective type Written test of 2 hrs. duration and will have 100 questions – 80 questions on concerned Technical subject and 20 questions common to all relating to Aptitude , reasoning and General awareness. The level of examination will be of Degree/Diploma level for AE & JE respectively as the case may be.
II. Final list of selected candidate will be drawn up on the basis of aggregate of marks obtained in written test and interview together.

Service Agreement bond:
All the candidates selected for appointment in the posts of Assistant Electrical Engineer (General Cadre), Assistant Executive Engineer (GTO cadre), Assistant Engineer (Civil), Assistant Engineer (IT),Junior Electrical Engineer (General & GTO) & Junior Engineer (Civil) will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) for serving at least 3 (three) years in JSEB to be submitted in the prescribed format at the time of joining.

Application fees are acceptable only in the form of crossed demand draft in favour of “National Power Training Institute” Payable at Faridabad. The validity of bank draft must be at least six months from the date of issue of this advertisement. The applicant must write his name, online auto generated application number and address on the back on Bank Draft. The application fee is non refundable. Before submission of application candidate must ensure that Bank draft is correct in all respect. In case of non encashment of the Bank Draft or incorrect Bank Draft, the application will be summarily rejected.
