Central Tobacco Research Institute (CTRI) Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh – 533105 was established under the Indian central tobacco committee Chennai from 1947 to 1965 and shifted to Indian council of agriculture Research (ICAR) New Delhi. ICAR works functions under store of information and give consultancy on agriculture, resource management education etc. CTRI has made co-ordination among agriculture research and development programmes.
