Applications are invited from male Indian citizens fulfilling the eligibility criteria for recruitment to the post of Constable (Tradesman) in SSB. The last date of receipt of application form is 10/12/2010.

Constable (Tradesman) : 1022 posts (SC-143,ST-69, OBC-251,UR-475, Ex.-SM-84) in various trades , Pay Scale : Rs. 5200- 20200 Grade Pay Rs.2000/-, Age : 18-23 years.

Application Fee : Application fee will be Rs.50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories in the form of Crossed Bank Draft or Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, SSB, SHQ Gorakhpur. No fee will be charged from SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen.

Selection Process :
The eligible candidates shall be issued Admit Cards to appear in recruitment tests. The date and place of recruitment test will be indicated in the Admit Card. The Candidates will have to undergo the following documentation test and other tests:-

How to Apply : Eligible and desirous candidates should send their applications in the prescribed proforma with attested passport size photographs duly affixed on the application form and admit card and duly completed in all respect to Dy. Inspector General, SSB Gorakhpur, Marketing Bhavan, F.C.I. Complex, PO- Fertilizer Factory, Urvarak Nagar, Gorahpur (UP) 237007. The last date of receipt of application form is 10/12/2010.  (Last date is 17/12/2010 for candidates from far-flung areas)

General Instructions:
1. Candidates should read the instructions very carefully before filling up the
application form.
2. No change/alteration will be permitted once the form has been submitted.
3. Incomplete or incorrectly filled forms will be rejected.
4. Candidates are advised to keep a photocopy of the form with them after filling it.
5. Signature of the candidate throughout the recruitment process should be the same as put in the application form.
6. Candidates failing in any of the prescribed tests will be eliminated at that
stage.
7. Candidature will be summarily rejected at any stage of the recruitment
process for not confirming to the official Format/having incomplete
information/wrong information/incomplete requisite certificates/
misrepresentation of facts.
