BSF invites applications for the post of Assistant Commandant (Electrical / Works) group ‘A’ . These applications are invited by male and female candidates. Details are given below:

Name of Post: i) Assistant Commandant (Works)

ii) Assistant Commandant (Electrical)

No. of vacant post:

In Assistant Commandant (Works) – 03 (UR-02, OBC-01)

In Assistant Commandant (Electrical) – 02 (UR – 02)

Emoluments: PB Rs. 15600-39100/- with GP Rs. 5400/- for each post.

Limit of Age: Min. – 21yrs, Max. – 26yrs.

Age relaxation for SC/ST and Gov. employees – 5yrs and 3yrs for OBC candidates.

Educational Qualifications:

i) For the post of Assistant Commandant (Works) – Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

ii) For the post of Assistant Commandant (Electrical) – Graduate in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

Physical standard:

For Male candidates:

a) Height – minimum 165 cms

b) Chest – unexpanded 81 cms

c) Weight – 50 kgs

For Female candidates:

a) Height – minimum 157 cms

b) Chest – not applicable

c) According to height but not less than 46 kgs.

How to apply:

The eligible candidate filled up prescribed application form. when candidates fill up application form properly then attached

attested photocopies of essential certificates, 2 self addressed envelopes (25*12 cms), 3 recent passport size photograph duly

attested by gazzeted officer. Finally the application form fill up in the envelop must be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT COMMANDANT (WORKS/ELECTRICAL) IN BSF” and send to  

THE COMMANDANT (RECTT), 

HQ DG BSF, BLOCK NO. 10 CGO COMPLEX,

LODHI ROAD, 

NEW DELHI –110003.

Date of receiving application form within 30 days from date of advertisement

Application Fee: Rs. 100/- for general category.

Fee exempted for SC/ST and Departmental candidates.

Mode of Payment: candidates paid application fee by DD in favor of DDO HQ DG BSF at SBI service branch, New Delhi,code – 7687.
